The 2000 Hyundai Tiburon was one of the good-looking car, and definitely the smoothest sporty car in its segment. It was graceful, and had low-slung. It was a 2-door vehicle with front-wheel drive mechanism and could accommodate 4 members.
Power-Train
It had a 4-cylinder engine that could churn out 140-horsepower. The engine coordinated with standard 5-speed manual transmission and an optional automatic transmission. The engine could produce noise at higher rotations.
Pros and Cons
However, it provided very low mileage of about 10 miles per gallon that was comparatively lesser than faster and high priced Toyota Corolla. Forgetting these minuses, it offered decent pickup, and had sufficient amount of torque to run on hills and at the same time it provided good air-conditioning also.
Turbo-Charger Option
For those who required speed, a supercharger or turbocharger, which needed a lot of room inside the cabin, was made available on the 2000 Hyundai Tiburon. The interior also got sporty looks, whereas the low ceilings and low seats cramped the driver’s space a bit.
There was much space provided for rear passengers, and the interior was adorned with map pockets, a little optional center relieve, out-slide cup holders, and deck for sunglasses.
Levers and button had a hard feel, and all reins were nicely labeled and wisely placed.
