The 2004 Hyundai Tiburon was a sporty hatchback car developed by Hyundai during 2004. Along with an exclusive GT edition, GT V6 and Base versions were included in the lineup.

Power-Train Specs

The GT version was designed by employing a 2.7-liter V6 engine, and base version was equipped with 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine. The transmission options included a standard five speed manual and an optional four speed automatic transmission. An optional physical shift was provided on GT V6 and base versions, while the Special GT edition associated with a standard six peed manual transmission. The wheelbases designed for base and GT were 16-inch and 17-inch respectively.

Standard Offerings

The base and GT variants were employed with front side air bags and four-wheel disk brakes. The ABS was optional on GT V6 and base, but standard on the GT Special version. On all models, traction control was however still unavailable.

On model GT V6 leather upholstery was optional. Tiburon GTV6 mated to 6-speed manual transmission, was also offered with aluminum pedals to get the sporty appearance.
